Back For The First Time

Welcome, the last blog I started lasted maybe a month or two, and then I gave up. Let's see how long this one lasts. I have absolutely nothing on my mind, which is a rarity. Honestly. I'm listening to Little Brother (look them up), and trying to find something funny to write about. Eureeka! I'm kind of fat now, although my girlfriend doesn't like me saying that. For my purposes, I'm not in good shape. I'm working on it though, I just go over an injury, and Flying Sphagetti Monster-willing, I'll be back to my old self. I was told the other day that I was as big as a house! Which is not true, unless you live in a 3rd World Country. If you look at my profile picture, you'll see a cut young man holding a rifle. He no longer exists, the rifle was replaced by cookie dough and an HDTV. Those are a deadly combination.

Now that I've graduated college and have a good job, I've noticed that I have money that doesn't need to be spent. That is an amazing concept to me and I marvel at it everyday. You'd have to understand how I grew up, where disposable income was pretty much nonexistent. It's honestly a new concept to me to have money in the bank that doesn't NEED to be spent on food, bills, etc. If you are poor/broke I apologize (and don't ask for money, I'm broke too). I am grateful that somehow I'm able to make a living.

Speaking of money, I kind of wish I was able to stick my head up my ass and become a Republican. I would be da man. I imagine being a black Republican makes you feel like you just left a porn store. You're kind of embarrassed, but hey, you really believe in what you're doing. I've honestly never met a black Republican that I can remember, but more power to them. It can be hard to go against the grain. Someone should write a book on the phenomenon.

I have nothing else to say, and to avoid pulling a Palin, I'll shut up for now. Here's hoping there's a second post.
